About Sonak Media

Better systems, not more staff.

Sonak Media is a UK systems studio. We design and build systems for businesses and industries — and operate our own products, some for businesses and some used directly by individual users, in market today.

The story

We built Sonak Media to fix the gap between design, build, and operate.

Most businesses — and independent founders — still stitch their digital work together from separate vendors: one for design, one for build, one for ops. The seams show. We built Sonak Media to handle the whole thing under one roof: design the system, ship the system, operate the system.

We use the same systems internally that we sell to clients — our own enquiry routing runs on the infrastructure we'd deploy for you. It keeps us honest about what actually works.

The pattern

Find a real problem. Build a real system. Operate it.

We don't build for hypotheticals. Every platform we run started with a sector-specific problem that wasn't being solved well by anyone else.

Step 01

Find the problem.

Find sectors buried in manual work, or audiences underserved by existing tools.

Step 02

Build the solution.

Build specialist platforms for those sectors. Productised, not bespoke.

Step 03

Operate it.

Launch as a standalone brand. Run it ourselves. Grow it from the inside.

Founder & CEO

Sony founded Sonak Media at the intersection of three disciplines: Fine Arts, hands-on work in health and social care, and AV technology. Fine Arts taught him to see a system through the eyes of the person actually living inside it, not the person who built it. Time spent working in care showed him what happens when the systems meant to support people don't hold up — care workers left to untangle pay, shifts, and disputes on their own. AV technology, run live on-site, taught him the same lesson from the technical side: a system either holds up in the moment or it doesn't.

That's the problem Sonak Media exists to solve. Too many systems fall apart in the gap between what's promised and what's delivered — handed off cleanly on paper, left for the client, or the person on the ground, to manage in practice. Sony built Sonak Media to close that gap: one team, accountable end-to-end, so what's agreed is what shows up. It's the same insight that led him to build GrossGuard — a direct response to what he saw inside the care industry.

Trust, reliability, and delivery aren't values on a wall here — they're the standard every system is held to.
